12 Volt VRLA batteries are the optimum choice for small telecom sites or sites with a minimum allowable foot print for the back-up battery system. These types of batteries are convenient for when a system requires small upgrade in reserve capacity at around 100-200 amp-hours per string (at -48V). Power capacity can range from 31 to 190 amp-hours per battery. A single battery rack consisting of five strings can have over 45,000 Watts of reserve power for a -48 Volt configuration. These batteries can also be easily configured into a 24 Volt configuration.
